ur church family offers a warm and friendly environment in which people can feel the Holy Spirit moving. Our worship liturgies come from the Lutheran tradition and change seasonally. Children are always welcome at worship.
The entrance to the Worship and Ministry Centers is located at the front of the property facing Carmel Road. As you arrive for worship, you will be welcomed by a greeter. If you require any special assistance or have any questions, please do not hesitate to ask the greeter or an usher.
10:30 Traditional Worship: In person and via YouTube No reservations required. Free seating. Nothing to prohibit or demand the wearing of masks and seating physically distant at this service. Our 10:30 service of worship is formal, with pastor in full vestments. We follow the more traditional order of Lutheran worship, and most hymns from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship book. This service feels very familiar to those of a liturgical background. We offer Holy Communion each week.
Childcare is currently on hold. When it returns, childcare will be available for preschoolers during the worship services. It is conveniently located downstairs in the Ministry Center. An usher or greeter can direct you. If you would prefer having your children with you in worship, you are welcome to do so!
Holy Communion
Each Sunday, we celebrate Holy Communion. We extend the invitation to receive the sacrament of Holy Communion to all baptized Christians. Grape juice and gluten-free wafers are available at each service, as well as common cup and either bread or wafers. Those who do not wish to receive Holy Communion may come forward for a blessing. When families are ready for their child to receive the gift of bread and wine, we offer a formal once yearly class in the late winter or individualized instruction with the pastor.
Sunday School
Sunday School Classes are available again. Adult classes meet from 9:15 to 10:15 a.m. and Children/Youth classes meet from 9:30 to 10:15 a.m. each Sunday.
