At Living Saviour, the Holy Spirit lives in us and in our ministry. We are doing God’s work in a world that presents challenges. At the heart of our mission is our intentional striving to live and love like Jesus in that challenging world.
Wherever you are in your faith journey, there are people at Living Saviour just like you. Some of us are involved in small-group bible studies. Some of us sing and make music to glorify God. Some of us serve the community both locally and globally. Some of us are questioning and grappling with the great mysteries of the Christian faith and some simply seek the restorative power of God’s grace at Sunday worship services. We are all striving to be disciples in God’s kingdom.
Living Saviour Lutheran Church is a faith community striving to live and love as Jesus did, eagerly welcoming all and bringing healing, help, and hope to the world.
The building of Living Saviour Lutheran Church, and the larger area surrounding it, is located on the original and ancestral homelands of the Catawba, Cheraw, Sugaree and Waxhaw people. We acknowledge their presence here since time immemorial, and we honor those who lived here before this congregation, or this city, came to be, who were the first stewards of the land, the first people who offered the first prayers and sang the first songs into the very soil under our feet.
Living Saviour Lutheran Church is a member of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America and the North Carolina Synod.
