Living Saviour Lutheran Church has a very active and strong Lay Care Ministry with over 70 members serving in one or more of 14 teams. The teams are active in:
- Visiting at hospital, rehab or home
- Home Communion to home bound
- Prayer chain
- Meal Prep & Delivery for the sick/family
- Bereavement team for funeral arrangements and family support
- Pet Bereavement team
- Funeral service coordination at LSLC
- Bereavement cards sent to members who lose loved ones
- Greeting cards organized for congregational use
- Transportation of the elderly to appointments/hospitals
- Congregational Inreach to those we miss at LSLC
- Prayer Shawls made and given to those requiring hospitalization/rehab as an assurance of prayers from the church family
- Praying for Possibilities of growth in the activities taking place in various areas of our church property
- Carmel Place Retirement Home Sunday Service with Communion
CARMEL PLACE ASSISTED LIVING CENTER
Each week, Living Saviour adults and/or youth conduct a Sunday morning worship service for residents. Communion is offered each week.
